Sesame Flank Steak Salad

If you're looking for clean Asian inspired beef, then this recipe is for you. Enjoy this flank steak on a salad (like it is here) or alongside your favorite veggies.

Ingredients
1 lb flank steak
Salt, pepper to taste
1-2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp almond flour
1 tbsp coconut oil
8 cups butter lettuce
2 cups shredded cabbage
Sesame seed garnish
Green onion garnish
1/4 cup coconut aminos
2 tbsp beef bone broth
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp golden monk fruit sweetener
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp lime zest
juice of 1 lime

Directions
Tenderize and cube the flank steak
Add the cubed flank steak to a mixing bowl. Coat with salt, pepper to taste and coat with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
Prepare the sauce by combining the coconut aminos, bone broth, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, monk fruit sweetener, pepper and lime
Heat up a large pan on medium heat and add the steak
Cook 2-3 minutes on each side until browned
Once cooked, remove the steak from the pad an set to the side
Drain the excess grease from from the pan turn the heat to medium low
Pour the sauce into the pan and bring to a simmer stirring occasionally
When the sauce is simmering, add the beef to the sauce and stir to combine
Add 2 cups of butter lettuce and 1/2 cup of shredded cabbage to a salad bowl
Add 4 ounces of flank steak on to the salad
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion
Drizzle sauce from the pan over the salad
Serve and enjoy!
